Erica Hawkes main style Nouveau 7,  is a marriage of the Canadian’s Group Of Seven, and the beautiful organic lines of the art Nouveau movement of the late 18-early 1900’s. Her paintings are contemporary landscapes with glimpses of the past. Which make them modern, yet familiar.

Artist statement

I strive to create landscapes filled with light and interest. I hope to capture the viewers eye and draw them in again and again. I want to create beautiful art that people fall in love with. Art that brings happiness and joy to the viewer, and gives a much needed break to our often chaotic busy lives.
